[ spam, greenhouse ]
[ Recently, anyone entering the garden (while Zane is there) experiences a mild increase in general peacefulness. It's a subtle effect, like releasing a heavy breath, like feeling some tension melt away. It could just be attributed to the pretty, idyllic setting. The greenery. The hush.
But the more psychically sensitive may be able to identify it as a gentle pull on all emotions in the area.
Zane can be found watering, pruning, fertilizing, tending the plants. ]
[ spam, CTS, on top of the greenhouse dome ]
[ He hasn't been around much the last few weeks, preferring to stay in and watch the newborn rabbits under his care. But they're growing more independent and he's growing restless. His lover still hasn't awakened from the coma yet. Nor has Marsh. He climbs the greenhouse dome in leaps far beyond what an (apparent) human should be able to do, soaring through the air and landing lightly on his feet.
Eventually, time finds him in front of the CTS, struggling with the decision to enter. He is dressed in a mistcloak, made of interwoven strips, independently moving; in the mist, he would be almost completely invisible. As it is, it's a little overdramatic in light of day. But it belonged to a mentor of his. He likes it. ]
[ video ]
[ He may look a lot like Stephen Hart, but his voice is lower, no evidence of an English accent. He studies the camera, and says: ]
I could use more help in the garden.
[ And then hangs up. There, that was all he wanted to say. ]

Can't enter it alone, but if you let me in, I'd be happy to lend ya'll a hand.

I'll be right on my way.
[And eventually, Facilier enters, glancing around, impressed.] Amazing how much they can fit on a boat, when you really think about it.
Audio
It's not really a boat. It just looks like one.
[ And then, only vaguely. It's like their minds just have to give it a shape while they look at it - or at least that's how Zane thinks of it. Certainly the spaces inside don't actually make sense.
He straightens up from the weeds he's been pulling, and pulls off the gloves. ]
I'm Zane.
[ He doesn't reach out for a handshake. ]

[The lack of a handshake doesn't bother Facilier. Instead, he gives an extravagant bow, his shadow decidedly not mimicking the action, instead floating off to peer at the plantlife.]
Real pleasure to meet you, Zane. Doctor Facilier, at your most humble service.

A doctor of what?

The witching kind. I help folks with their fortunes, change what they don't like. That sorta thing.

[ Honest curiosity. ]

Is that like a god?

And then he died and the next god was named Sazed.

...Huh. Can't say I'v heard of that one.

[ This is, in fact, the truth, though it still sounds insane. Zane says it calmly and matter-of-factly. ]
But he was specific to my world.

[Facilier will try to remember this. Powerful people are useful people.]

I'm Mistborn. Other than that, I think I was just in the right place at the right time.

I can show you, if you want.
[ He slips a coin out of his pocket, and flips it into the air.
Midair, the coin changes trajectory and sweeps toward Facilier. It ends pressing lightly against his chest, just hard enough that the force of friction prevents it from falling. ]

Now that sure is something. Got to admit, you got me impressed.

He's a little proud, here, his chin a hint higher than it was before. Proud-stubborn. ]
It's part of what we can do.
